Bryce Canyon in southwester Utah is distinctive due to its geological structures. I’ve painted there several times, but never when there was snow accenting the spectacular rock formations. It was like frosting on a cake. In this painting, I juxtaposed the cool colors of the snow against the warm reds and oranges of the rocks.
