Palo Duro Canyon Fourth Crossing

Palo Duro Canyon is a state park located in the Texas Panhandle. Over time, a small stream with a long name, The Prairie Dog Town Fork of the Red River, has slowly eroded this huge area, the second largest canyon in the United States. Only the Grand Canyon is larger.

There are several numbered water crossings in the canyon. This painting depicts one of them.

My painting “Palo Duro Canyon Third Crossing” shows another.

The original acrylic painting was sold to a private collector by an art gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
