Sometimes Bernie painted the Grand Canyon with a literal touch. In those pieces it’s recognizable to anybody who has ever been there. And then there are pieces like “Grand Canyon Contours” … where Bernie let his imagination run wild. Really wild at times. Beautifully wild. Creatively wild.
I enjoy these works because they take me back into Bernie’s heart, soul, and brain. He enjoyed painting this place more than anywhere else (with the possible exception of Zion National Park), and when I look at “Grand Canyon Contours” I feel that love shine through.
This “Little Gem” giclée print on thick archival paper comes with a custom-cut white mat that fits into a standard 11″ x 14″ frame.
