Kehoe House in Savannah

“Kehoe House in Savannah” shows an 1892 Renaissance Revival mansion in Savannah, Georgia. It’s listed on the National Registry of Historic Places and located in Savannah’s Historic District. Now a B&B, this is one of many classic buildings spread around the gorgeous, park-filled city.
I made “Kehoe House in Savannah” during a trip to the Southeast. It was my first time there, and I loved the old Southern charm of this coastal city. The painting was done on location. As I worked, many passersby stopped by to watch and comment on its progress. It was great fun for me to incorporate some of them into the piece.
