It never fails to amaze me how many gloriously different ways Bernie found to portray the Grand Canyon. This may well be the most dramatic of all, which I realize is saying a lot! But for sure it’s proof positive (as if anybody actually needed one) that he never fell into a rut.
I loved this large, stunningly beautiful painting from the moment Bernie finished it and was really sorry when his gallery sold it almost as soon as he delivered it to them. I would have preferred to keep it for ourselves. But now, I’m able to enjoy an excellent-quality framed giclée print of it on my bedroom wall… even as I offer the same opportunity to others. Best of both worlds.
