I’ve spent many hours standing beside rivers and streams, studying their patterns, and painting them. “Rolling Water on the Pecos” is an example of abstraction in motion. This painting portrays a section of the Pecos in New Mexico, which I’ve painted often, because I never tire of capturing its ripples, colors, and dynamic energy.
