This luminous Bernie small but beautiful painting packs a tremendous punch. For sure, he had a way with aspen trees and morning light and autumn color.

I’ve put this painting in the Colorado section, but the same scene could also be found in the Rocky Mountains of northern New Mexico or southern Wyoming. Anywhere in the Rockies, really.
