This large watercolor is a composite of locations that Bernie had painted before in Zion National Park. He made composites like this of several other southern Utah parks, but this is the only one of which a professional photo remains. Fortunately, I do have that, so even though the original was sold, I can offer the spectacular piece as large, top-quality prints.
In “Colors and Contours of Zion,” Bernie encapsulates just about everything that people love most about Zion National Park… and in fact much of southern Utah. By that I mean its fabulous array of shapes and formations. Its colors, both subtle and vivid. Its soaring rock walls and the ever-changing views along its different trails.
